GenWriters Club is a social organization empowering Young African Writers to share their writing skills and Arts on our online website and magazines for free.

With a much more focus on projecting the untold African story, addressing environmental challenges and development. 30% of proceeds from every magazine sale on our website and partnered magazines goes back to serving educational developments.

FOUNDERS

Raphael Okyere

Founder

Raphael is a Fellow of "HP Foundation social entrepreneur program" and a Web Developer. He is highly driven by his Tech skills and has the zeal of making it reflect in the African community through his social invention. The goal is to impact as much lives as possible with my skills, the ones i know and the ones am yet to discover.

In 2013, I experienced the dark side of being a young writer in Africa, from not being heard or seen, and being discouraged of my craft. Hence, today we decided to create platforms that projects the voice of African Youth writers digitally to be heard. WELCOME to GenWriters Club!

Ruth Ngombo

Co-Founder

Ruth Ngombo is a 19year old Christian Blogger, Instagrammer and Podcaster from Germany. She is the Founder of Calledbytheone.com Christian Blog.

Currently Ruth is studying Law at the Unversity of Bielefeld. If I had 3 words to describe myself, I would choose joyful, pretty open and eager to learn.

We joyfully created this platform with absolute certainty that it helps you learn and improve your skills.

Patrick Towers

Co-Founder

Towers Patrick James is an activist and a change-maker. He volunteered in Ghana a few years ago, where he helped kids with learning disabilities and in his free time created the first Basketball club for students within Odupong-Ofaakor community, Kasoa Ghana.

He worked with Maven Heart Foundation to Provide long term solution to better the system of education in Ghana. Mr Patrick studies Law in the University of Bielefeld, Germany. He is currently a Co-founder of GenWriters Club. Patrick Towers is passionate about education and its developments in Africa.
