COMMEMORATION – Heroes don’t die, they only rest Eyes witnessing their best.

Detained without trial
Lives are broken like the vial
Hanged like clothes during the day
Eyes watched without a say

Tears dropped like rains
Hearts beating like the trains
Seeing thy unforgettable downfall
Maybe it was a hidden call

Heroes don’t die they only rest
Eyes witnessing their best
Fighting for freedom
Placing all in a peaceful kingdom
Today we remember such souls
Souls having jiggered soles
Voices that spoke in the dark
As we lined like cars at the park

Into the city of light
You all told us to be right
When you finally fought the whites
Restoring ‘our lost sights.
